We all Like a chat don’t we?

You call your mum, so do I. Dad rambles on about how things were back in “his day”, & we waffle on about how tough we’ve got it.

There’s nothing challenging about having a chat. In fact I’d argue there’s not many things that are easier than talking about things you are passionate about; whether that be how much water your drinking (thanks mum), how challenging watching snooker was before colour TVs (thanks dad), or perhaps even the idea of launching your own recruitment agency. It’s meant to feel easy.

Our rule of three

Open, honest & confidential

There are a number of ways you might have found your way to Isotope; you might have been referred to us by a superstar recruitment client we’ve been lucky enough to help over the years, you may have seen some of our content on LinkedIn, Tiktok or listened to a podcast episode with our very own Max Jones, you might have been trawling through google to find the right solution for your ambitious startup needs & before you knew it found yourself in the depths of the Isotope website.

However you may have “found” us, we’re not in the business of making things more complicated than they ought to be. On countless occasions throughout this website (& probably more than once) we’ll have suggested the first step is always a chat. An open, honest, confidential & personal chat with one of the Isotope team.

There’s a high probability that you’re first conversations with Isotope will be with one of the smiley crew below.

Meet The Isotope Team

They’re personable, approachable, patient & have probably seen every startup scenario a recruiter will ever face in their own agency. Their job is to understand first & be understood second; to listen & explore what you’re looking to do & whether Isotope are the right model for you. So what can you really expect from those countless confidential conversations about your recruitment startup ambitions and how Isotope would be able to help?

Top Secret

The Confidential Chat

Who?

Chances are you’ll have seen them over Linkedin, stumbled across them over Tiktok or been referred to one of them by a client we’re already so lucky to be helping. One of the team here at Isotope (typically Max Jones) will be your first port of call. You’ll have an open, detailed, honest & confidential chat about everything. No expectation here, just a good conversation about the exciting prospect of starting your own recruitment business. Typically, we will look to understand more about what has brought to this exciting stage in your career & why you want to start your own business. But, honestly, we’re just there to listen, advise & suggest how Isotope might be able to help you. Usually lasting around 45-60 minutes – so be sure you get yourself a coffee before you get started!

Where?

Wherever you like. On the sofa, in the kitchen, on the garden swing – wherever is best for you to have a confidential & open chat. Typically people like to commit some “alone” time for that first chat – somewhere quiet, as opposed to on the train back from work, perched on a chair in Café Nero at lunchtime or in the office toilets frantically keeping an ear out for a colleague that might be listening in on your conversation. Our advice? Pick your favourite spot in the house, grab a coffee, shut the door & get chatting!

When?

Anytime is good for Isotope. Weekdays, weeknights, weekends – all very popular & all times of the day that Isotope are very happy to have a chat. We appreciate the need to work around immovable responsibilities & the evitable delayed train which might mean we have to push our 7pm call back a bit. But if we had to tell you what’s worked best in the past, we’d have to say evenings over lunchtimes & weeknights over morning drive-ins but, to make it absolutely clear, we have no problem accommodating a keen budding recruitment entrepreneur focused on talking about their new business. Any day ending in “day” we’d say.

Why?

And just to be clear, Isotope will never suggest that you take time away from work or your family for the purpose of an impersonal Q&A session that AI could have done better! Isotope believe very strongly that it is wrong to ask a Recruiter to come & spend time with a potential support company, unless that support company had taken the time to get to know you. It’s just too personal a thing to do without making sure each recruitment consultant (well.. person) we talk with feels that Isotope are there for them, with nowhere to go & no “brief window” to talk – we’re here for one, two or ten conversations. All you have to do is call.

How Many?

There is, never will be & never has been a limit to the number of conversations we would expect to have with a potential new client before feeling ready to work together. It’s simply too big a decision to make based on one phone call or even (in some cases) eight! During every conversation more & more is unearthed about you, your ambitions & the support important to you, every conversation 101 questions get answered & 101 questions pop up. So to put a limit of the number phone calls we would have with you wouldn’t be helpful to you nor helpful to us. Oh & if you want your friend, spouse, partner, trusted parent to be on the phone calls with us then please, we’d love to talk with them.

What Now?

More Information!

Having had a handful of confidential conversations with member of the Isotope team, it may be starting to feel like the right time to progress things together. It may be feeling like the right time to carve some time out of your day to sit down with the Isotope team to understand more about what a relationship together may look like.
