Aspire Evolve was founded by Luke Melluish in the final months of 2020. After 5+ years working alongside various agencies across the construction market, it was accumulation of passion & experience coupled with a burning desire to run his own agency that led the timing being right for Luke to launch his own agency. Focussing across the blue & white-collar side of the construction market, this is his story.

In some cases it’s not a matter of “if” an exceptional recruiter will successfully launch & develop their own agency, but “when”.
“When” will they start to feel professionally capable to make the leap; “when” will they feel that their new business skills are strong & consistent enough to build an agency upon; “when” will it feel like the right time personally for them to leave the shackles of employment & launch the agency they’d always thought about.
For Luke, the answer was the middle of 2020.
The construction market was on an upward trajectory, Luke had been toying with the idea of starting his own agency for years, & he felt he’d hit a little bit of a glass ceiling with his current employer. Given the ambitions of Luke, that made him feel a little stagnant; he’d never enjoyed the idea of “sitting still” in his career which was part of the reason he’d enjoyed such progression in his career to date.
Our conversations started with Luke in the middle of 2020 with what started as a detailed conversation one weekend exploring both what a successful business would look like to Luke & how the Isotope model could help create that for him. A few conversations followed, ZOOM calls with members of the Isotope team & a few conversations with existing clients of Isotope of whom were experiencing the journey Luke was some to embark upon, all resulted in understanding so much about one another prior to commencing the procedural launch of his new business.
