Education
Willo Education was founded by Kirstie Stanton at the end of 2021. After 5+ years working across the education market, the lure of launching her own agency just got a little too much (perhaps you can relate?) & Willo was born. Born out of a passion for the education market & a desire to create a business that empathised with a market that means so much to her; it was always just a matter of time before she “made the leap”. Focussing across the early-years education market both on a permanent & temporary basis, this is her story.

Sometimes the idea of one day launching your own recruitment agency develops over a prolonged period of time. Taking years to first start rearing its head & occupying part of your everyday thoughts. Sometimes.
Other times, the idea of one day launching your own recruitment agency starts the moment you enter recruitment; yes you appreciate you might not yet be ready to launch your own agency, but the desire to one day leave the shackles of employment & build your business in your vision & in your way, is something that you find yourself thinking about very early in your recruitment journey.
As ever, there is a never a “right time” to start thinking about the idea; some of our most successful clients to date only started toying with the idea months prior to launching their own agency, while for others it was an all-consuming thought for years prior. I don’t think anyone that has ever met Kirstie would say anything other than she is firmly in the latter camp!
Ever since joining the education recruitment market back in 2017, she knew that her end goal was to start, run & develop her own recruitment agency. Why? For her it was simple. Naturally part of her wanted to reap the financial rewards that she knew it could produce, after all who wouldn’t want to retain more of what you bill? But she was also hugely motivated to create a business that would give her (& her staff) the freedom, autonomy & flexibility she felt was missing in agencies within the market. If we’re being honest, that passion to improve upon a model she knew so well is synonymous with so many exceptionally talented recruiters we work with.
Our conversations with Kirstie started a few months prior to the launch of Willo Education; it started out with a few tentative messages over LinkedIn, a few questions answered & a few areas of clarity provided meant that it felt like the right time to chat over the phone. When? An autumnal Sunday morning talking through everything from Kirstie’s ambitions & drivers around what she wanted her new agency to look like to what support was going to be paramount in helping her create the business she so clearly had visions of.
After a few detailed conversations over the phone, it felt like the right time to meet up. First a weekday evening in a hotel in Milton Keynes to ensure that, as a business we understood the specific requirements for her & her business; followed by a day in the offices here at Isotope HQ, meeting with the team, understanding the processes & ensuring that (as people) this was right for all involved.
History has shown, of course, it was.
There’s one thing “launching a recruitment business”, there’s another thing effectively creating the foundations for a business to then develop, scale & grow within the education market. Part of the exciting challenge within the education market is getting that balance between unique flair when launching an agency within the space, all while keeping the back office & compliance non-negotiables in the forefront of your mind. With that in mind, here are just some of the areas of support Isotope are lucky enough to work with Willo Education Recruitment across:
Logo design
Business cards
Letterhead
Compliment slip
Email signature
Social Media Banners
Homepage Design
Logo animation
Here are just some of the landmarks Willo Education have enjoyed since opening their doors.

I had been thinking about starting up my own recruitment agency in the future for some time but it’s a huge step and I wasn’t sure if I could do it. 8 months in and it’s the best decision I have ever made. From my very first call with Max, it was very clear to see he is extremely passionate, knowledgeable and experienced, so I knew I’d be in safe hands. I went away, did my research and spoke with other providers of similar nature but Max really stood out. Then after meeting with the Isotope team, I knew Isotope and Willo would work great together. And I wasn’t wrong. They all understood my vision and were all equally as passionate as I was. Max and his team are always there to answer my calls/emails and anything I need.
I wouldn’t need any hesitation in recommending Max and the Isotope team. They have changed my life and for that I’ll be forever grateful.

Recruiters + singing usually only occurs during the Office Christmas Party where Karen from HR wheels out the vintage Karaoke machine to liven things up. Just on that note, what’s your go-to-karaoke song? Anyways, for Kirstie she’s our very own Jekyll & Hyde. Recruiter by day & successful singer by night. Gigging on the weekends, Kirstie’s passion for recruitment is only matched by her passion for music. Oh & to answer our own question… Red Light Spells Danger.
So there are a few things you might feel like doing right now. You might feel like re-reading the above? Perhaps you can resonate with this particular recruiter, perhaps they’re working in a comparable market to you & you’d like to re-read both their history & some of the support that has been important to them since their inception. Alternatively you might feel like reading another case study from the collection? Perhaps you’re interested in hearing other stories, other insights into what pulls recruiters to start their own agencies & compare that with your own thoughts & feelings around the topic. Or perhaps you just feel ready to make that first step for yourself? You’ve read a few of these case studies now & can see parts of “you” in every journey, you’ve looked at their history, you’ve reviewed what they had to say about Isotope & you might have even taken a sneak peak of them on LinkedIn. Whatever you feel like doing, what’s stopping you clicking that yellow button & exploring the idea a little further? 👇

As a creative lead within Isotope, I love bringing all the ideas our superstar clients have to life. From logo concepts to unique website designs; from stand out marketing collateral to social media marketing strategies that have a tangible ROI objective; it’s great fun. Made even “funn-er” (that’s a word, right?) when the recruiters we’re working with are as passionate as I am about the quality of any creative work that is produced. Our objective is to be our own design agency within the wider Isotope support vehicle & with Kirstie, the freedom to create a brand that is both unique, soft & professional has been great fun. Something the whole creative team are so proud to be a part of
