Technical Prospects was founded at the start of 2013 by Heidi Birch who, after 10+ years working within the recruitment space with one particular employer, finally felt it was the right time for her to make the leap & start to build her own agency. Looking Back
Some recruitment agencies are born out of a desire to innovate, while others are born out of a desire to improve a service their founders know so well. Back in the dark ages of 2013, Heidi knew her market incredibly well; she knew what an agency needed to be to provide value to the recruitment industry & the results her clients desired & deserved.
It was partly due to the longevity of her recruitment experience & consuming desire to provide the best & most professional service to her ever-growing client base, that really drove her desires to start, run & develop her own agency. Coupled with a handful of personal landmarks on the horizon & a desire to build a business that would work in & around her personal life, it slowly started to become a matter of “when” not “if”.
Why couldn’t she build a business that would not only provide her with the personal freedom she held so dear but also simultaneously provide her with the financial freedom that owning your agency could provide?
Isotope have known Heidi ever since the inception of her business back in 2013, with a key members of the Isotope team being lucky enough to have been part of her journey for the last 10 years. Her conversations with Isotope were simply an extension of this; we always knew that in order to provide Technical Prospects with the support they needed, we needed to genuinely understand Heidi, understand what her business meant to her & understand why “quality service” was at the core of everything she did.

It was never initially the intention of Technical Prospects to hire. Originally launched as a small independent, it was never really the intention of Heidi to hire into her agency & build in that way. However, as a result of the successes in the latter stages of 2020 & the entirety of 2021, it finally felt like the right time to welcome exceptional consultants into her team.
