Infinity Employment was founded by Lee Holland who, after 10+ years across the sector, felt like it was the right time for him to launch his own agency across a space he knew a heck of a lot about. With other projects outside of recruitment, he’d always been fixated on the idea of running his own business & after 10 years in the space, felt ready to take all his learnings from the years gone by & focus them into his own agency. Looking Back
We talk a lot about the importance of that penultimate role in the context of starting your own agency. So often it’s that role that acts as a catalyst for an experienced & capable recruiter to feel ready to launch their own agency after, quite often, years of thinking about the idea.
For Lee & his journey, this was pretty evident.
He’d always thought about the idea. Having been interested in business ventures from a young age – working on a number of projects while honing his skills with recruitment – he’d always known that at some stage or another, he’d make the transition into his own agency.
Having been part of some very well known & reputable agencies across the south coast over the years & learning from the best when it comes to how to operate across the driving & logistics market, it was a role that he took c.2 years prior to launching Infinity Employment that gave him the professional assurance, confidence & sureness to launch his own agency.
Tasked with the project of building out a presence across the south coast for an agency who knew the driving & logistics space well but didn’t quite the footing they’d hoped for across the south coast, the opportunity allowed Lee to gather the hands-on experience around what it takes to start & grow a desk/branch from the ground up.
A skillset that would become invaluable when growing Infinity Employment, some years later.
It was over those few years that he started to feel ready to launch his own agency – professionally he’d seen what it took to grow something from the ground up & personally he’d felt the pride attached to what that felt like. Now it was about ensuring that it was personally the right time for him & his family.
His conversations with Isotope started like so many do – slowly & tentatively over the course of a few months, during which time we started to build a really comprehensive idea of what a successful business for Lee would look like & the support required to help him get there.
Progress was always the plan for Lee & since the inception of Infinity Employment at the start of 2023, he’s done just that. Hiring heavy-weight consultants (of whom he knew very well from previous experiences), the team has grown & so too has the offering.
